1. The Lanzarote Airport Route (Guasimeta)/Uga- Airport Lanzarote
LZ-2
When you get to kilometre 6 and after Playa Honda, you come
to the exit for the Airport, from where you share the journey
both with drivers coming from the port and those from the
airport.
From here the route goes through Tias, the Macher roundabout,
the Macher petrol station, Puerto Calero roundabout, (bus
stop), petrol station (closed down), Femés roundabout.
Then on the right you will see the village of Uga and in the
background the Timanfaya National Park (Chimanfaya) and the
Montañas del Fuego.

UGA, Playa Blanca LZ-2 and vice versa.

The Arrecife Lanzarote Route, (Los Marmoles Port) LZ-3
by-pass, UGA,
Playa Blanca LZ-2 and vice versa.
2. PLAYA BLANCA Route, Port (Lanzarote-Fuerteventura ferry),
UGA, Arrecife de Lanzarote LZ-3 Los Marmoles Port (Tenerife-Las
Palmas-Lanzarote ferry) and vice versa.
Two options (three counting the one through Las Breñas/Femes,
four counting the one through Marina Rubicon/Femes). I will
focus on the two most direct routes:
From the port take the Playa Blanca exit at the petrol station
roundabout petrol, the main road, after 18 minutes you can
opt for:
1st The new LZ-2 road (more traffic), go straighte on to
the Yaiza roundabout, the town by-pass, Yaiza roundabout (Molino),
the following village: UGA (on the left, the third turning;
the first two are forbidden and dangerous).
2ª The old LZ701 road, a good road, less traffic, "less"
stress,
recommended for bicycles (although this road is obligatory
for heavy vehicles). Be very careful, it is a good idea to
reduce your pedalling speed. The wind is generally from the
north east, trade winds (from the front and left side). The
route is Salinas del Janubio (left), La Hoya roundabout (bus
stop), Yaiza, Yaiza roundabout (Molino), the following village
is UGA (on the left, the third turning; the first two are
forbidden and dangerous).
